چکیده

Abstract There is evidence of increased soil organic carbon (SOC) and inorganic (SIC) under fertilization in dry croplands arid semi-arid areas. However, not much known about the responses SOC SIC coastal saline − alkaline paddy soils that undergo flooding draining cycles. Here, we assess impacts various combinations phosphorus on other properties a field Yellow River Delta. Our study showed resulted an increase by 11.9% over 0 20 cm 13.3% 100 (i.e., 140 250 g C m −2 y −1 cm) whereas only led to significant subsoils (or ~ 75 cm). were little differences among treatments; but decrease combined with lower rate fertilization. high amendment stock, stock subsoil. was negative relationship between stocks this soil. This demonstrated practices could have complex influences fields due cycles lead changes conditions.

Morphological and Physiological Responses of Carnation and Tomato to Organic Phosphorus Insecticides and Inorganic Soil Phosphorus.

During the last few years considerable attention has been focused upon the use of the organic phosphorus compounds hexaethyl tetraphosphate and tetraethyl pyrophosphate as the active components of certain commercial insecticides. These substances are known to be toxic not only to insects but to other organisms in general as well. As the names of hexaethyl tetraphosphate and tetraethyl pyrophosp...

Organic and Inorganic Carbon in Paddy Soil as Evaluated by Mid-Infrared Photoacoustic Spectroscopy

Paddy soils are classified as wetlands which play a vital role in climatic change and food production. Soil carbon (C), especially soil organic C (SOC), in paddy soils has been received considerable attention as of recent. However, considerably less attention has been given to soil inorganic carbon (SIC) in paddy soils and the relationship between SOC and SIC at interface between soil and the a...

Organic Phosphorus Source Effects on Calcareous Soil Phosphorus and Organic Carbon

The loading, solubility, mobility, and plant availability of P is a growing environmental concern to regulators and planners of nutrient management plans, confined animal feeding operations, and wastewater land application permit sites. Insufficient information is available on how P reacts from different organic sources when applied to calcareous soils. A field study was conducted to determine ...
